The Parikunda Falls is near Madhabkund Falls in Baralekha Upazila of Moulvibazar district. You can see this fountain if you move forward towards a flowing water stream in the opposite direction of Lord Shiva temple in Madhavkund. If the tourists want to see this fountain, then be careful on the way. There are many dangers that can happen in the rocky path. The water way to see this fountain from the Shiva temple is a slippery way, and sometimes it may need to measure the height of the water. So this is a good way to carry some of the hand sticks on the road. Walking around 15-20 minutes, you will see a fountain on a secluded natural environment. This is the Parikunda Fountain. This fountain is falling from approximately 150 feet high. There is a Khasia village here. Kunda is the pond water reservoir. It is said that, in the nights of the New Moon and Purnima, long ago, the pirates played watercalls and bathing in the water of the fountain. It has been named as Parikunda.
